FN3‑12 Indoor High‑Voltage Load Switch

FN3‑12 Indoor High‑Voltage Load Switch

General Description

FN3‑12, FN3‑12R, FN3‑12R/S load switches are indoor‑mounted high‑voltage electrical apparatus. They are applicable for 50 Hz AC, 6 kV or 12 kV power networks, to make and break load current and overload current. They can also serve as switches for switching no‑load long‑distance lines, no‑load transformers and capacitors. When fitted with RN3‑type fuses, FN3‑12 and FN3‑12R/S can interrupt short‑circuit currents and act as protective switches. This load switch can be operated with CS3‑type or CS2‑type manual operating mechanisms.

Operating Conditions

‑ Altitude: ≤1000 m;

‑ Ambient air temperature: max. +40 °C, min.

‑10 °C; ‑ Relative humidity: ≤90% at +25 °C for indoor installation;

‑ Environment free from conductive dust;

‑ No corrosive gas or substance that may damage metals and insulators;

‑ No severe vibration and impact;

‑ No fire‑hazard or explosive‑risk atmosphere.
