ZW32‑12 Outdoor High‑voltage AC Vacuum Circuit‑Breaker is outdoor distribution equipment with rated voltage 12 kV, three‑phase AC 50 Hz.

It is designed for pole‑mounted installation. This switch is mainly used to make and break load current, overload current and short‑circuit current in power systems, featuring overload, short‑circuit and instantaneous‑trip protection. Single‑side disconnector, double‑side disconnector or upper‑mounted disconnector can be optionally fitted.

Product Features

• Arc‑extinguishing by vacuum interrupter The vacuum interrupter maintains high‑vacuum inside, serving as insulation and arc‑extinguishing medium during live‑line operation. When contacts separate under load by operating mechanism, vacuum arc is generated between contacts and extinguishes at current zero‑crossing to interrupt circuit current.
• Adopts air‑silicone rubber and epoxy resin composite insulation; sealed‑pole version is also available.
• Fully enclosed in stainless‑steel or ordinary steel housing. Superior sealing performance for explosion‑proof, anti‑condensation and anti‑pollution.
• Two‑phase or three‑phase current transformers for protection, measurement or metering can be installed inside the switch.
• CT normally adopts triple‑ratio design: 50 100 150/5, or 100 200 300/5, or 200 400 600/5. Custom ratios are available according to customer load requirements. Protection class accuracy: 10P10; measurement & metering class accuracy: 0.2S, 0.2, 0.5.
• Dry‑type voltage transformer can be fitted inside to supply operating power and voltage sampling signal.
• Flexible solution with reserved interface for distribution network automation for future function upgrade.

To meet upgrading and expanding‑function demands of smart grid:  • Reclosing controller can be added for automatic reclosing.  • Matched with electronic PT; battery is charged by CT power supply. Multiple energy‑storage & close‑open operations are achievable under power‑loss condition, and working voltage for external devices can be output.  • Built‑in metering CT/PT supports remote prepayment. Zero‑sequence CT can be equipped for earth‑fault protection with sectionalizer controller. Simple remote controller is optional for local remote operation at pole base upon request.

• Optional disconnector Reliable mechanical interlock is realized between circuit‑breaker and single‑side / double‑side / upper‑mounted disconnector. Disconnector cannot be switched when circuit‑breaker is closed.
• Housing: stainless steel or ordinary steel. Surge controller (2‑phase or 3‑phase, subject to CT quantity) can be installed to provide overload, short‑circuit and instantaneous‑trip protection. Current threshold and delay time are user‑configurable.
• Operating Mechanism CT spring mechanism supports both manual and motor‑driven operation.
