ZW32‑12 Outdoor High‑voltage AC Vacuum Circuit‑Breaker is outdoor distribution equipment with rated voltage 12 kV, three‑phase AC 50 Hz.

It is intended for pole‑mounted installation. This switch is mainly used to make and break load current, overload current and short‑circuit current in power systems, and provides overload, short‑circuit and instantaneous‑trip protection. Single‑side disconnector, double‑side disconnector or upper‑mounted disconnector can be optionally equipped.

Product Features

• Arc‑extinguishing via vacuum interrupter High‑vacuum environment inside the vacuum interrupter serves as insulating and arc‑extinguishing medium during live‑line operation. When contacts separate under load by operating mechanism, vacuum arc generates between contacts and extinguishes at current zero‑crossing to interrupt circuit current.
• Adopts air‑silicone rubber & epoxy resin composite insulation; sealed‑pole type is also available.
• Fully enclosed in stainless‑steel or carbon‑steel housing. Excellent sealing performance for explosion‑proof, anti‑condensation and anti‑pollution.
• Two‑phase or three‑phase current transformers for protection, measurement or metering can be fitted inside the switch.
• CT is normally triple‑ratio design: 50‑100‑150/5, 100‑200‑300/5 or 200‑400‑600/5. Custom ratios are available per customer load. Protection accuracy class: 10P10; measurement & metering accuracy class: 0.2S, 0.2, 0.5.
• Dry‑type voltage transformer can be installed inside to supply operating power and voltage sampling signals.
• Flexible solution with reserved interface for distribution network automation for future function upgrade.

To meet upgrading & function‑expansion requirements of smart grid:  • Reclosing controller can be added for automatic reclosing.  • Matched with electronic PT; battery is charged by CT power supply. Multiple energy‑storage & close‑open operations are achievable under power‑loss condition, and working voltage can be output for external devices.  • Built‑in metering CT/PT supports remote prepayment. Zero‑sequence CT can be equipped for earth‑fault protection with sectionalizer controller. Simple remote controller is optional for local remote operation at pole base upon request.

• Optional disconnector Reliable mechanical interlock between circuit‑breaker and single‑side / double‑side / upper‑mounted disconnector. Disconnector cannot be operated when circuit‑breaker is closed.
• Housing options: stainless steel or carbon steel. Surge controller (2‑phase or 3‑phase, subject to CT quantity) can be installed for overload, short‑circuit and instantaneous‑trip protection. Current threshold and delay time are configurable.
• Operating Mechanism CT spring mechanism supports both manual and motor‑driven operation.
